A measurement notebook for small experiments.
Problem
Small experiments were easy to start and hard to compare after the fact because notes used different formats.
Approach
Yardstick gives each experiment a consistent markdown structure for hypothesis, method, observation, and outcome.1
Result
The notebook made experiments easier to review and helped teams decide which ideas deserved more work.
The template was intentionally short so small experiments could be documented in minutes instead of becoming a separate reporting chore. ↩︎
